Our 7-point grooming check
SKIN AND COAT
We begin by looking for any lumps or bumps on the body. We also check for parasites or any irritations.
We remove excess hair from the ear canal, before wiping the ears with a soothing ear cleaner. We look for any inflammation that your dog may have.
A dog’s nose should be wet and cold. A dry nose does not always mean illness, but it could be a skin condition that you should be aware of.
We remove excess hair from the eye area and check for any visible irritation. The eyes should be clear and bright.
The nails are checked to ensure that they are at a manageable length and are trimmed if necessary. It is important to trim their nails to make sure the nails do not grow back into their paws and cause a painful infection.
The teeth are checked to ensure good oral hygiene. We check for any broken / wobbly teeth, swelling, bleeding or lumpy gums and any tooth decay.
We check for any obvious soreness, resistance, arthritic changes, or lack of muscle on any side that could point to joint issues.
If we notice anything about your dog’s health which requires immediate attention, we will be certain to notify you!
During every grooming session, our trained groomers perform our 7-point check to ensure that your dog is as healthy as it can be. Our 7-steps include:
Your appointments are very important to the team members of Champions Premier Dog Parlor. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations by calling directly at 484-887-8800. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. You will receive an appointment confirmation 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked weeks ago. Since the services are reserved for your Pet personally, we kindly ask for 24hrs notice of a cancellation.
Cancellation Day of Appointment: 50% of the cost of service(s).
No call, No Show: Full cost of the service(s). Thank You for understanding.
